Our bumpers are "build to order" items and lead time can be anywhere from 3 weeks to 20 weeks, depending on if we have an extra, etc. We have not seen 20 weeks since the aftermath of covid, but feel free to check in with us before placing an order if timing is critical for you.

When we released our first bumper system, there was nothing that came close to it on the market (there still isn’t, but there wasn’t then either). With a proprietary latching mechanism that eliminates rattles and flex, modular attachment system for fine tuning and interchangeability, and rigorous manufacturing processes to eliminate variability, it has been appreciated and abused by many. Shipped all over the world, used in extreme climates, smashed into, all kinds of unspeakable abuses, and they just keep on ticking.

The GEN2 bumper has wrapped all that experience, along with customer feedback and feature requests into a new package. While it looks similar, every piece has been refined and streamlined.

NEW bumper features:

·     Increased ground clearance with extra departure angle on the corners

·     Optional bolt-in side tube guards for extra quarter panel protection

·     Integrated cut-outs for Baja Designs S2 reverse lights in bumper shell

·     Integrated, protected cut-outs for Baja Designs rocklights in mounting brackets behind rear tires to light up the trail

·     Easily removed section of the bumper so you can install the Slee 2” Receiver add-on (found here: https://sleeoffroad.com/products/sok2000/)

·     Hi-Lift notch in the rear side step opening for safer jacking

·     Integrated cut-outs for 3-eared air fittings (available soon from us) in both of the side step pockets. A full size air fitting will fit nicely and remain protected.

·     More adjustability for getting that “perfect fit”, even if your frame is a little bent. From the previous owner, obviously

NEW swingarm features:

·     More adjustability of the latching mechanism for easier and more robust installs

·     The latching mechanism now has an integrated ejector to make opening the arms even easier

·     The latching mechanism is now even easier to close and lock

·     Upgraded selectable stainless locking pin for use with or without:

·     Optional add-on “soft open” gas struts for opening assistance without the worry of slamming into anything

·     Larger stash pocket area

AS ALWAYS features:

·     NO CUT of your frame needed to install the bumper (if you have cut your frame for a different bumper, contact us for a solution)

·     Cross-compatibility of bumper attachments between all swingarms

·     Removing just a few bolts, all accessories can be removed from the swingarms, giving full access to the rear upper hatch. If you know you don’t have any trips planned for the season, may as well have easy access to the back of the rig for that ol’ grocery getter, right??

·     TWO extra heavy duty ¾” shackle mounts in line with the frame for maximum pull strength, with our Quick Hook geometry.

·     Keep your license plate in its stock location with a carefully placed viewport.

NEW Powdercoat situation:

·     Due to increased costs of powdercoating (as well as the general lack of care in the freight industry) we are now offering the bumpers in raw form. As part of the GEN2 redesign, we made sure any shop will be able to coat our bumpers.

·     We still offer a premium, 2-stage powdercoat service through a local shop. This requires extra handling and careful packaging, as reflected in the powdercoat price.

·     The swingarms are also available in raw state for those who want to color match arms to bumper.

·     Accessories are not available in raw state. They are all 2-stage powdercoat, ready to bolt on.

·     Custom powdercoat colors are available, with added cost. Contact for details. Best to have that done local to the install so you can pick colors though.

Freight/pickup:

·     Please let us know immediately if you plan on picking up your bumper instead of having it shipped. This will save time and effort, and packaging charges.

·     This product ships freight! Enter in your delivery address as normal on checkout. When your bumper is ready to ship, we will be in touch to double check ship to address and make sure you have signed/returned the freight agreement before getting freight quotes. It will almost always be less expensive to have your bumper shipped to a commercial address with a forklift, or pick it up at a terminal local to you.
