An excellent "while I'm in there..." job is replacing the shifter assembly boot that isolates the shifter assembly from the transmission tunnel below it. Be careful when removing the old one, there are small metal spacers the bolts go through that are no longer available and you don't want to lose them, since you will need to re-use them.

If you're going to do that, you may as well add the RED SHIFT LOCK BUTTON too!

The DashHole plug was designed to fit nicely into the shifter console itself, but does not fit the faceplate without some modifications.
