Our modular roof rack system is an easily expandable set-up that bolts together in many configurations.
The two main components are the HALF RACK and the FRONT HALF KIT. You can start with the Half Rack that mounts on the rear half of your roof, then later on down the road add the Front Half Kit when you decide you need full length coverage. You can also add load bars almost continuously along the entire length of the rack, both front and back, as needed for your application.
When we say stout, we mean it. A 250 pound point load, jumping up and down at the midpoint of the rack causes almost no deflection, see video below.
The front kit has individual, built in recessed mounts for 2 Baja Designs Onyx6+ 10" light bars. If you aren't into that kind of thing, covers are included.
The rack ships raw aluminum. This is somewhat of a new approach for us here at Delta, but decided a roof rack is meant to get used and abused, with things sliding on and off it regularly. The entire system bolts together, and you can easily have it coated (powder or paint) locally before assembling.
We are currently working on various adapters (awnings, RTT, antennas, solar panels, etc), but until then, there are TONS of places to bolt accessories, utilizing for your own brackets, etc.
There are holes pre-cut in the Half Rack to install MaxTrax MKII Mounting Pins (1 set of holes on eah side of vehicle so you can mount as you see fit), no drilling required (but if you DO need to mount something else, drilling through aluminum is easy-peasy).
Our proprietary mounting clamps are powdercoated steel for the most strength possible, with four down each side (in the full rack configuration). The clamps have four bolts each, two holding the rack to the vehicle and two locking the clamp in place.
