We recently purchased the rights to reproduce (and slightly modify for our manufacturing processes) the Backbay Customs 80 Series Tailgate Storage panel.

What you see here is our version of their awesome, retired, product. The only changes we incorporated were to make it stronger and easier to make.

Made from 3/16" aluminum, this is by far the stoutest tailgate storage lid available for your 80 Series. We incorporated two additional support brackets to help accomplish this.

In the future we will offer an add-on carpet kit for the INSIDE of the tailgate cavity, you will be able to purchase this separately and install at any time. At the same time, we will be offering a carpet kit for the OUTSIDE of the lid, to match the interior.
